Weapons of Mass Destruction

Listening to the news just now, getting pissed again.  First they said “There were no weapons of mass destruction, Bush lied!”  They repeated it over and over again so that it would stick even in the minds of those who don’t pay attention to the news.  Repetition, you know, psycologists and advertisers say it is the key.  Hear something casually enough times, when you aren’t really paying attention, and the message you hear the most times is the one that will stick, whether it is true or not.

Now documents have been declassified and they detail all the weapons of mass destruction that we found in Iraq.

All those links go to news stories about WMD and documents about WMD and links between the Iraqi government and Al Queda and the Taliban.  Most of those documents were among the thousands of Ababic documents the US government found during our operations over there.  There were far too many documents to translate all of them, so the government put them up on the internet so anyone who can read Arabic can translate them for us.

Now that we have a congress controlled by democrats, there is pressure to take the documents offline.  The traitors, er, I mean democrats, claim they are concerned that there are documents that explain in detail how to make things such as nuclear bombs, and chemical weapons, and they are concerned terrorists will go online to those documents and learn things they didn’t already know.  Funny how they admit what is in the documents when it supports their arguments to hide those documents from the public.  Maybe they’re concerned we’ll read for ourselves that there were WND in Iraq, and they want the documents offline before we do?  Probably.  They’ve been online for over a year, if any terrorists were going to get any information form them, they’ve already got it.

In addition to the documents, WMD has been found.  For example, over 500 artillery shells with chemical gas inside of them.  Over 500 weapons of mass destruction. And those worms say “They were old weapons of mass destruction, they sucked!”  So fucking what if they were old?  Weapons of mass destruction WERE found, the politicians that started this knew they WERE found the entire time they were saying they WEREN’T found, and they also knew the documentation about it was secret and took advantage of that. Now that the documents are declassified and in the news they downplay it and try to keep it as a side story, that no one will really notice.  And now they have taken the congress, they want to hide those documents again, and keep us ignorant.  They know their campaign of repetition of lies, lies they knew were lies, over the past three years has been effective.  They know can just sit back and ride on that, because most people don’t care.

And they know we are in danger, but they don’t care because they want the reigns of power again.  Disgusting.

What will it take?  A nuke going off over America’s head before all these pathetic, non-caring, head in the sand sheep wake up and see what is really going on? Go ahead, ignore the news, look the other way because reality is unpleasant.  Make yourself succeptable to tricks, like repetition, that work on shaping the opinions and beliefs of the apathetic.  You’re just making it easier for those who hate us to kill us, and for the power hungrey politicians who are selling us out like Judas to sell us out.  I bet 90% of the people in this country don’t even know weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq.

Sad, really sad.
